Students at the School of the Madeleine have the opportunity to partake in a multitude of programs and activities. Options range from academic programs such as the Academic Decathlon team or the ECP program’s after-school enrichment classes, to extracurricular activities such as the MAD Band and chess club, to CYO sports programs including basketball, volleyball and track. No matter what your child’s interests are, the School of the Madeleine has programs they’re sure to enjoy.
MAD Band
Starting in 4th grade, students may participate in an after-school band program. Band rehearsals are underwritten by the Parents’ Association and the lessons are paid by parents. Weekly music lessons are offered for trumpet, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trombone, euphonium, and drums. The MAD band performs at the first Friday assemblies, two annual concerts and at Madeleine school and sporting events.
